Ireland’s Fiddlers Green are first and foremost professional Irish singers and musicians with a very strong passion for the musical folklore that has been handed down through generations. Their vocal and musical presentation both in recordings and live performances demonstrates their ability to provide the best Irish entertainment for both Irish and foreign audiences.

The new live performance at the  Addison Lodge Glasnevin Dublin starting Thurs 19th and Fri 20th April 2012 is a performance – with a support troupe of Irish dancers – not to be missed. The abundance of Irish songs that tell stories, paint pictures and relate to Irish culture over many centuries can be heard in the live Fiddlers Green performance. With an excellent CD now available – Ireland’s Fiddlers Green – the best of —— The lead singer Danny Carthy the original band member will also introduce a number of his own songs written and composed over many decades, as well as his Guitar and vocal harmony accompaniment in his live performance.

Also performing with Danny is the very versatile John the Deego Kid presenting excellent vocal, musical and harmony arrangements which includes Acoustic Bass and Guitar. Adding the finishing touches to the band is the virtuoso Banjo and Mandolin player Owen Hackett presenting superb musical accompaniment with hand clapping, feet stomping reels and jigs. The Irish dancers will assist in rendering each night’s performance as the best Irish night in Dublin.
