Joe Casey, Head Chef at the Addison Lodge
Joe Casey has been creating delicious dishes form an early age. Joe began cooking by his uncle’s side in the family restaurant. While his childhood was spent immersed in food, Joe became eager to make a career from his passion.
He began his formal training in the School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology at DIT, Cathal Brugha Street in Dublin. Upon graduation, his strong culinary pedigree continued at the Red House Hotel Newbridge, followed by Curryhills House Hotel, Naas.
Joe’s flourishing career continued when he joined the prestigious Clongowes Wood College, spending fourteen years refining his culinary expertise.
The Addison Lodge were delighted to welcome Joe to the team in 2010. He brings the perfect blend of fine food and excellent customer service; sourcing local and seasonal foods and working closely with local providers to prepare the freshest dishes for our delicious carvery, café, lunch and dinner menus.

Start the day with a mouth-watering breakfast from 10am Monday to Saturday, where you can choose from traditional Irish grills, continental breakfasts or delicious fresh pastries straight from the oven. Choose from a wide range of rich coffees and teas any time of day.
Our succulent carvery serves traditional home-cooked roasts, sea-food dishes with potatoes of the day and fresh seasonal vegetables from 12pm to 3pm Monday to Friday, 12pm to 4pm on Saturdays and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays.
OAP Special Rate
OAP’s can avail of a special €8 euro carvery lunch any day of the week.
Our A La Carte caters for all appetites, and is available from 3pm to 9pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 4pm to 9pm.
